Are transfers suited for my family member?

Questions that clients often ask themselves:

I donít know who to ask to pick me up after my surgery.

I donít want to bother family or friends because they are working or live too far away.

I need to get to a treatment center periodically and a cab wonít do.

I need rest during transport and need care from hospital to home and from home to hospital.

I feel a little unsteady after treatment and I would like safe, stretcher ambulance type transportation with medical supervision.

I enjoy the care given by the transfer company and feel like I am in good hands with them.

I want my loved one to be in good safe hands while being transported.

I need a transfer company that is reliable and on-time.

I need a transfer company that is fully qualified.

As a former professional in Marine Search and Rescue the company's founders are committed to carrying over the knowledge and training to the private sector ... now dedicating their time and experience for the patient transfer industry.

A professional and compassionate team that you can rely on!

1stAMBUPORT INC is a young but quick growing company that not only services the GTA but also travels as far north as Thunder Bay and as far west as Niagara Falls, Buffalo and Windsor. We transport patients as far east as Ottawa and Montreal.

Your transported family member will find our staff to be very friendly and professional. We select highly qualified medical attendant teams all with clean driving abstracts screened by the Ministry of Transport with Police clearances. All patient transport teams must be certified in First Aid, CPR Level C, for adults, children and infants and in Automated External Defibrillation (AED), and be certified as a Health Care Provider and / or MFR or higher.

Transfer costs often becomes the responsibility of the patient, so we do what we can to make your transfer affordable while continuing to provide high quality service.

The Ontario Public Guardian and Trustee is a wonderful organization that we look forward to working with, who manage the financial affairs of people who are incapable of doing so themselves.

In some cases we volunteer to transfer patients for free Ö simply because our team wants to help alleviate the stress for some patients who are in real need! Because less stress promotes faster recovery and because we look forward to maintaining a long term relationship with our clients.
